The Tatiana Method

I recall 2022 as if it were just yesterday. I attended the Criss Angel show, and the emcee asked who wanted to try on Criss' straitjacket. That's when I noticed an illusionist named Tatiana. I remember going up to take a picture with her, and my first thought was: "WOW! She is so tall and fit." I thought, "I want to be skinny." However, it didn't happen. By 2023, I had gained even more weight. I was chunky and continued eating fast food. And then Europe happened.
Many people ask me, "How did you lose weight so quickly in just 2 weeks?" They wonder, "Did you even eat?" Some began to say I looked anorexic and suggested I should regain the weight. Then, I struggled with a severe case of stomach flu. After a tough week, I began to recover slowly, and when I looked at myself in the mirror, I thought, "WOW! I look good." That's when I realized, "You have two choices in life: you can return to how you were before, or you can embark on this new weight loss journey and be happy."
And I truly did! I began eating more healthily, increased my water intake while reducing soda consumption. I began preparing and enjoying my green smoothies. I started exercising, all thanks to one individual: The queen of illusions, Tatiana. I recall a day when she did an Instagram live session and inquired why people follow her, as she saw herself as dull. I wanted to explain why, but decided against it. Many people ask me, "Why do you follow her?"
The answer is quite straightforward: she serves as an inspiration for anyone aiming to be fit. She is a determined woman committed to maintaining her fitness. Thanks to her workout videos on Instagram, I was able to keep the weight off throughout 2024. Although I initially focused on one specific routine, she suggested incorporating a variety of exercises, and I realized she was correct. At the end of 2024, I decided to attend a meet and greet with Criss Angel, the GOAT (refer to my previous post). While backstage with Criss, his bodyguard informed him that the meet and greet was nearly over, and for some reason, I inquired about Tatiana. I asked if she was present, and he replied, "She is, do you want to see her?" I said yes, and there she was. I finally got to say "Hello" to the young woman who became my inspiration. I must admit, meeting her made me happier than meeting Criss.
This year, she launched her own website. As I noted in my earlier post, I planned to begin her method on January 20th, which is also Inauguration Day in the U.S. On Monday, I began with 25 crunches, held a plank for 20 seconds, performed 25 toe touches, followed by another 20-second plank hold, and finished with 20 plank side dips.
On Tuesday, I began with 20 Russian Twists, followed by 20 flutter kicks, another 20 twists, side-to-side plank dips, 10 V-ups, and 20 bicycle crunches.
Wednesday was a reset day, allowing me to give my body some rest.
Thursday: Wow, I followed the same routine as Monday, but I experimented with some of her other techniques, including glute exercises. Needless to say, I ended up sore and have been struggling to climb the stairs.
And at last: Friday! This morning, I repeated the Russian twists.
The main question people often ask is: does her method work? Absolutely! It has been effective for me. Despite feeling sore today, I feel positive about myself. I still have my egg white in the morning because breakfast is essential; it's the most important meal of the day. I have stomach issues, but that's because for many years during middle and high school (when I was bullied), I would deprive my body of food, which led to my stomach becoming upset. It took years for my stomach to adapt to having breakfast.
Insights I have gained:
Avoid depriving yourself of food.
Ignore what others say
When you begin something, it's because you're doing it for yourself, not to impress others.
No matter the situation, people will always have something to say
Repetition leads to mastery
***I'm struggling with plank side dips, as I often lose my balance. However, with practice, I believe I will master it.***
